Increased market supply as a new vitamin E plant started operation caused prices to soften as a result.
 
In the north, transacted prices of imported vitamin E were in the range of RMB207-212/kg. Transacted prices of locally produced vitamin E registered between RMB202/kg and RMB207/kg, with some small volume deals concluded at slightly higher price levels. Prices in the south were slightly higher.
 
China's vitamin E prices are seen weak in the near term.
