Brazil beef exports reach US$5.53 billion for December
Up to the second week of December, Brazil's beef exports reach US$5.53 billion, ahead of the record levels in 2008, when exports reach US$5.4 billion.
It is expected that by the end of 2012 Brazilian beef exports will reach US$5.8 billion.
The volume growth reversed the downward trend of the past three years which between 2009 and 2011, despite an increase in revenues, had decreased by country.
In 2012, Brazil was able to increase the volume of exports from January to November by 12.25%, compared to the same period last year.
