China fishmeal imports down 66.7 percent in November
China imported 35,992 tonnes of fishmeal in November 2005, down 66.7 percent from the previous month, and a 65.7 percent fall compared with the same period last year.
The November imports came mostly from:
Chile: 9,471 tonnes;
US: 7,053 tonnes;
Peru: 5,477 tonnes.
From January to November 2005, China's fishmeal imports totalled 1,541,661 tonnes.
