Iran's dairy exports up 92% on-year
 

 

In the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year, which started on March 21, Iran exported 340,000 tonnes of dairy products, representing 92% higher than the first three quarters of last year, the IRNA News Agency reported on December 24.

 

Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Afghanistan were the main destinations for Iranian dairy products.

 

Iran's non-oil foreign trade reached US$53 billion in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year, Iran's Customs Administration reported on November 30.

 

The country's exports accounted for US$24,605 billion of the mentioned amount, down 12.7% compared to the same period last year, a news agency reported on November 30.

 

Iran exported 56.844 million tonnes of non-oil goods in this period, which is 7.7% more than the same period last year. It also imported US$28,247 billion worth of non-oil goods in the mentioned period.
