Zambia halts corn exports to secure domestic supplies
In order to secure sufficient domestic supplies, Zambia has suspended all exports of corn to other markets in the region.
This is according to the country's agriculture minister.
Emmanuel Chenda told the Zambian National Broadcasting Corporation that the Southern African nation is likely to see a drop in corn production due to an infestation of army worms in central, southern and eastern provinces.
