Amalina Holding secures exclusive meat distribution rights with Mirha Exports
 
 
 

 

Malaysian company, Amalina Holding Sdn Bhd and India's Mirha Exports Pvt Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the appointment of exclusive distributorship of meat, poultry, milk, eggs and dairy products to Malaysia.

 

"The meat is for the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia," said managing director, Ramlan Abd Majid, after the signing of the MoU.

 

According to local media reports, Amalina aims to record an earning of US$100 million a year.

 

The halal frozen meat market in Malaysia is worth about US$300 million with a volume of 90,000 tonnes a year.

 

Both Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and High Commissioner to India, Datuk Tan Seng Sung witnessed the signing ceremony.
