Fresh Cuts Uganda, a meat processing company is intending to expand its business into Rwanda and has already sent a consignment of products to test the market receptivity.

Meanwhile, the company has plans to set up a meat processing and butchery facility in the country.

Earlier this year, Fresh Cuts Uganda teamed up with Mauritius company, Ireland Blythe Limited in hopes of becoming a significant meat business in the region.

Besides supplying minced meat, and sausages, among other products, Fresh Cuts will be supplying vacuum packed, frozen and boxed meat products to Nakumatt, its major supermarket chain outlet in Rwanda.
