Market analysis

Prices of 65 percent lysine weakened marginally whereas those of 98.5 percent lysine remained unchanged due to tight supply.

As major feed millers were done with their procurements, trade was light in the lysine market over the week.

Meanwhile, feed demand remained sluggish, especially in the layer sector.

Market forecast

In the near term, prices of 98.5 percent are seen stable; however, prices of 65 percent lysine will weaken further amid ample supply.
