Another fish feed factory opens in Vietnam

The Vietnam Animal Husbandry CP Co. Ltd from Thailand has opened another fish feed factory in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre on December 24.

The US$70 million factory is the biggest direct foreign investment in the province, totalling Thailand's investment in the province to US$88 million, the biggest by far.

The factory, with an annual capacity of 384,000 tonnes, is scheduled to become operational by September 2008 in an effort to meet demands for fish feed in the Mekong Delta region.
