Argentina may have more wheat export in 2013

Argentina will probably open up a similar amount of wheat export at the end of the season, when stocks are confirmed, despite the government cutting the quota this season by 1.5 million tonnes.

Just over a third of Argentina's winter wheat harvest is complete, with harvesting continuing through January. The government is likely to end up clearing 1-1.5 million tonnes more wheat in February because of the excess wheat carried over from last season, said Santiago Labourt, president of the Argentine wheat association ArgenTrigo.
