Market analysis

China's lysine prices remained unchanged amid tight supplies.

As of Dec 23, general offer prices of locally-produced lysine were in the range of RMB10.40-10.70/kg. Transacted prices were between RMB10.20-10.50/kg.
 
Prices of 65-percent locally-produced lysine were between RMB6.00/kg and RMB6.20/kg.

Meanwhile, prices of deals concluded for 65-percent lysine produced by CJ Corp were at RMB6.10-6.30/kg.

As for imported lysine, transacted prices by traders were RMB10.90-11.20/kg.
 

Market forecast

Current lysine prices are seen stable as manufacturers adjust production to regulate supplies while demand remains weak.
