Grass-fed beef may gain popularity as grain prices soar
With high grain prices worldwide, grass-fed beef might be poised for a comeback, according to Tasmanian meat exporter Greenhams.
Most of the beef from the company's plant on Tasmania's north-west coast is exported to Japan, Korea and the US.
The exporter said markets would open up for grass-fed beef as the cost of grain-fed meat is pushed higher.
