Cobb-Vantress has expanded its Cobb Asia unit with Sandy Irawan, a long-time Cobb distributor in Indonesia for over a decade, joining the team.

Irwan will be responsible for sales in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei.

He was once general manager for Galur Prima Cobbindo where he headed their poultry processing division. Irawan managed the company's yearly sales of four million broiler chicks and one million parent stock while overseeing production of grandparent and parent stock.

Irawan holds a Bachelor's degree from Seattle University, US, and was a management trainee with the Subur/Cobbindo group. He previously worked at Cobbindo after short periods with other firms in Seattle and Indonesia.
