Dunbia to invest US$12.3 million in new beef processing plant

UK meat giant Dunbia will set up a new beef processing facility on the former DairyGold site in Felinfach in western Wales at a cost of £7.5 million (US$12.3 million) to service a contract with Sainsbury's.
The company has already used the site for a temporary lamb processing facility while its plant in Llanybydder was redeveloped, a project that was completed this year.
The new beef processing site will create 208 jobs. Jonathan Young, Dunbia's human resource (HR) director, called the investment "a really exciting opportunity" for the company.
