AKVA group expands aquaculture services in Norway

As part of an ongoing effort to build up a strong local service network in Norway, AKVA group is now expanding its operations on the island of Hitra, outside Trondheim.

The Sandstad location will now offer spare parts inventory and a professional service organisation for both Akvasmart and Polarcirkel products, said AKVA.

A high speed Polarcirkel Cabin 860 boat is included in the company plans to offer customers even faster service and prevent equipment down time, said AKVA group Sandstad manager, Eskil Bekken.

AKVA Group is a provider of technology to the global fish farming industry. Products consist of software systems, operational equipment and sensor systems, feed systems, cage systems, net cleaning systems, light systems and recirculation aquaculture systems.
