CP Vietnam to invest heavily in poultry farming

Four chicken farms at a cost of US$8 million will be set up on 56 hectares of land in four districts of Binh Duong province in Vietnam.

The chicken farms will be established in Ben Cat, Tan Uyen, Phu Giao and Dau Tieng districts. CP Vietnam will also set up a US$50 million processing plant that has an annual capacity of 22,500 tonnes in the province.

Binh Duong Province has suggested the company survey appropriate locations away from residential areas in line with the provincial urban zoning map.

CP Vietnam started operation in 1993 with a registered capital of US$193 million. It is a business unit of Thailand's CP Group.
