Chile's poultry exports jump 43 percent January-October
Chile's exports increased 43 percent in terms of value from January to October this year from the same period in 2004, according to data from the Chilean company Saxamar.
Poultry exports reached US$108.2 million, while volumes rose 56 percent to 64,313 tonnes. Mexico was Chile's largest export market at US$55.5 million, while the UK imported US$21.8 million and Japan US$10.6 million.
