South Korean groups buy 110,000 tonnes Canadian feed wheat

South Korea's Major Feedmill Group and the Korea Feed Association bought a total of 110,000 tonnes of Canadian-origin feed wheat from trading house Concordia in private negotiations Friday, a Seoul trader said.

The first shipment of 55,000 tonnes would arrive at Incheon port April 15, and would cost US$134.75/tonne, cost and freight.

The second shipment of 55,000 tonnes would arrive at either Kunsan or Ulsan port, and cost US$134.75/tonne, C&F, excluding a second port discharge premium of US$1/tonne.

It is unclear how much the companies individually bought, the trader said.
