China's Lysine Imports Down 2,620 MT; Exports Also Lower by 319MT in November

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported 6,935 metric tons of lysine in November 2004, down by 2,620 metric tons from October. In the month of November, China mainly imported lysine from Indonesia, the US and Thailand.

 

From January to November 2004, China's accumulative lysine imports totaled 69,618 metric tons, a rise of 405 metric tons compared with imports of 69,213 metric tons in the same period of 2003.

 

Export  
 

China exported 1,560 metric tons of lysine in November 2004, down by 319 metric tons compared with October's exports of 1,879 metric tons.

                                                        

In the month of November, China's lysine products were mainly exported to the Netherlands, Canada, Malaysia and Indonesia.

 

From January to November 2004, China's accumulative lysine exports totaled 20,741 metric tons, up by 13,631 metric tons compared with the exports of 7,110 metric tons in the same period of 2003.
