Peru's December Fishmeal Market and Prices

 

With falling fish catches in recent weeks, the Peru government has announced a fishing ban until 3 January 2004. Coupled with the approaching holidays, catches would most probably remain on the down side. 

 

Businesses in Peru and Chile has been quite slow this week as many buyers are getting ready for yearend holidays and many feed production plant closures in Europe for the period.

 

Little sales activity of aquatic catches and fishmeal is anticipated in the next two weeks.
