Rusagro eyes new US$424-million pig complex
Agricultural group Rusagro intends to invest US$424 million in building a pig breeding complex in Chelyabinsk region, regional officials report.
Rusagro's complex for one million pig heads is reportedly to be located in two municipal districts - Uysky and Chebarkulsky. Under plans, the complex is to consist of 32 pig farms, slaughter and processing houses, feed stuff plant and a laboratory.
Construction is scheduled to be carried out in several stages between 2011 and 2016.
