Pas Reform's hatchery automation goes global with LAN acquisition

Pas Reform has acquired Dutch company LAN, a specialist in custom-made handling and transport solutions, accelerating plans for globalization within its hatchery automation division.

 

LAN's expertise will, said Pas Reform CEO Bart Aangenendt, give the hatchery industry access to new applications, especially in complex handling systems, robotics, and vision technology.

 

Founded in 1970 and based in Tilburg, The Netherlands, LAN is well known in Europe and the USA, with a reputation built on the design and development of customized solutions and innovative systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Key customers include Kraft, Mars, Del Monte, and Nestlé.  

 

An experienced team of 60, consisting of engineers and world-class production, testing, and service capabilities, joins Pas Reform's Hatchery Automation Technologies division.
 

LAN Handling Systems will continue to deliver logistics solutions to the food and pharmaceutical industries. In collaboration with Pas Reform's experienced, international team - and under the new name of LAN Hatchery Automation - the company's expertise will also be focused on hatchery automation systems for the hatchery sector worldwide.
