Vietnam's animal feed prices show sharp increase
Prices of animal feed rose VND200 (US$0.01) per kg on average in the Vietnam market in tandem with the prices hike on the global market.
According to the Vietnam Association of Animal Feed chairman Le Ba Lich, animal feed prices rose by 15-20% in the world market from several weeks ago.
Lich also unveiled that Vietnamese animal feed producers are earning a little, some of them are even working without profit because materials were bought at high prices.
Meanwhile, Vietnamese animal raisers, who are boosting breeding to meet growing demand in the New Year and Lunar New Year festival, have been hurt by low meat prices.
