Taiwan's MFIG buys 60,000 tonnes US corn

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group, or MFIG, has bought 60,000 tonnes of US corn from trading house Marubeni in a tender concluded Wednesday (Dec 20), a trader in Taipei said.

Marubeni will supply 46,330 tonnes at a premium of 155.50 US cents a bushel to the Chicago Board of Trade March contract, while 13,670 tonnes will be supplied at US$205.37/tonne.

The shipment is expected to arrive in Taiwan between Feb 10 and Feb 24.
