Press release
Cargill Animal Nutrition, DENCO, LLC, and Golden Lyk R, LLC, a subsidiary of DENCO located in Minnesota, US, have reached an agreement for Cargill to provide distribution, marketing, and nutritional expertise to Golden Lyk R supplement products.
The agreement includes a toll manufacturing arrangement, as well as exclusive marketing rights to Golden Lyk products under a trademark licensing agreement. In addition, there is an option agreement for the future purchase of the Golden Lyk business.
Gerald Bachmeier, chief manager at DENCO said, "We are very pleased to enter into this business relationship with Cargill. They have an extensive marketing organisation that will help make the Golden Lyk products available through more distribution points. We are confident that the relationship between DENCO and Cargill will be very successful and that Golden Lyk product sales will be a significant contributor to Cargill Animal Nutrition."
Randy Overbaugh, Business Development Manager, Cargill Animal Nutrition, said that Golden Lyk's technologies would be an excellent addition to Cargill Animal Nutrition.
"Golden Lyk's technology utilises natural protein and energy sources in its supplement formulations for cattle, horses, sheep and deer. We feel Golden Lyk's technologies create a new market category that fits well into today's environmentally conscious culture. We really like what we see with this new product line," added Overbaugh.
Golden Lyk R products are currently available through Cargill's North Central and Great Plains businesses.
