Thailand's CPF to expand operations in China, Malaysia
Charoen Pokphand Foods, a Thai agricultural conglomerate, said Wednesday its board gave the green light to a plan to expand its aquaculture businesses in China and Malaysia.
The company will set up a unit with an initial registered capital of THB45.2 million (US$1.26 million) for shrimp nursery farming in China, Charoen Pokphand Foods said in a statement.
The company would also expand its fish feed operation in Malaysia, where it will acquire a feedmill for THB13.1 million (US$365,000), the company stated.
