New Zealand beef exports up 28 percent in November
 

New Zealand beef exports totalled 26,000 tonnes (shipping weight) in November, up 28 percent compared with the same period in 2004, Meat & Livestock Australia Limited said.

However, exports from January to November fell 6 percent on-year to 360,000 tonnes (sw).

New Zealand exported the most beef to the US in November at 15,900 tonnes (sw), up 37 percent compared with November 2004.

Meanwhile, exports to South Korea and Taiwan in November were up 6 percent and 38 percent on-year respectively.
