Higher output cost pushes up China choline chloride prices
Prices moved higher over the past weeks.
Prices of trimethylamine continued to rise while ethylene oxide prices stayed firm. Hence, choline chloride producers lifted prices to maintain profits as demand from the livestock sector was buoyant.
In Hebei and Tianjin, prices of 50-percent content choline chloride were in the range of RMB4,600-4,800/tonne.
Choline chloride producers are likely to increase prices further.
