Vitamin E in China withhold buying despite depleting inventories

Over the past few weeks, prices slid further.

Despite dwindling inventories, buyers were reluctant to increase procurements of vitamin E while supplies remained abundant. Two major producers continued to withhold price releases during the period in review.

Price quotes of locally produced vitamin E moved lower to the range of RMB95-98/kg.

Vitamin E prices are expected stable to lower with supply in excess, domestic sales slow, and export demand curtailed by a strong renminbi.
