Vitamin E in China withhold buying despite depleting inventories
Over the past few weeks, prices slid further.
Despite dwindling inventories, buyers were reluctant to increase procurements of vitamin E while supplies remained abundant. Two major producers continued to withhold price releases during the period in review.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin E moved lower to the range of RMB95-98/kg.
Vitamin E prices are expected stable to lower with supply in excess, domestic sales slow, and export demand curtailed by a strong renminbi.
