Sharp fall in aquaculture output weakens China choline chloride demand
Prices dipped further during the period in review.
Aquaculture production reduced prominently in the south lately due to the falling weather temperature. Hence, the demand for choline chloride decreased sharply, dragging prices down.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride by major producers in Shandong were in the range of RMB5,550-5,600/tonne
Choline chloride sales are expected to be flat as aquaculture season ends. This, in conjunction with weak prices of trimethylamine and ethylene oxide, will clamp down on choline chloride prices in the coming period.
