Market analysis

Major lysine producers slashed prices further amid slack demand, as feed millers had yet to begin a new round of year-end stockpiling.

In Europe, quotes for 2012 Q1 orders rose slightly to EUR2.05-2.20/kg amid limited availability.

Market forecast

With short-term supplies tight and restocking demand set to pick up, lysine market may see limited downside in the coming period.
