Ukraine plans to deliver large-scale grain volumes to the country until the end of 2011/12 marketing year. The annual wheat production in Jordan totals 10,000-15,000 tonnes, which is 5% of the consumption of Jordan only.

The Ukrainian delegation with Igor Filippenko, Head of State Food Grain Corporation, met with Abdel Karim Degmi, Chairman of the Parliament of Jordan, and officials of the Kingdom of Jordan: Sami Kammuh, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Ahmad al-Khattab, Minister of Agriculture.
