Taiwan Feed Company Looking to Buy US Corn

A Taiwanese feed company is looking to buy one cargo of 42,000-56,000 metric tons of U.S. number 2 yellow corn, a Taipei-based trader.

There are two shipping periods for the cargo - Feb. 1-Feb. 15, 2004, ex U.S. Gulf, or Feb. 16-March 2, 2004, ex U.S. Pacific Northwest, said the trader.

Results of the tender are expected at 0630 GMT Friday.
