EW Nutrition sets up new business unit in Thailand

EW Nutrition South East Asia / Pacific Pte Ltd & EW Nutrition GmbH affiliated with the EW Group have successfully incorporated a new business unit in Thailand, EW Nutrition Thailand Ltd.

The Thailand operation located in Bangkok is home to a local team offering warehousing distribution and laboratory testing services to local customers.

"The growing market potential and competitive environment in Thailand calls for the need to offer a wider spread of products portfolio and supply in shorter lead time. Having products directly sent out from local warehouses to local feed mills has always been our primary objective", explained Robert Nichol, General Manager of EW Nutrition South East Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd.

The slow release non-protein nitrogen product Prote-N^®, a microencapsulated formulation of secondary plant compounds Activo^®, and bacterial and mycotoxin-binding Mastersorb^® Gold, is now available from the company's warehouse in Bangkok. The products are produced in Brazil where EW Nutrition/GRASP has developed technologies in encapsulation and micro-encapsulation techniques.

         
The products Globigen^® Pig Doser Egg immunoglobulins (IgY's) and Activo Liquid will continue to be available though well-established local channel partners. An expansion to the Globigen product range is also in the product registration process.
