China Methionine Weekly: Supply shortage fuels price hikes (week ended Dec 15, 2013)
China faced severe methionine supply shortages of late with several regions having little or no supply of some brands of products. The availability of methionine tightened as several traders withheld releases in anticipation of higher profits with prices climbing further.
