Ukraine's July-December 14 grain exports total 13 million tonnes
Ukraine's general grain exports totalled 13 million tonnes since the beginning of the current marketing year (July 2012), and as of December 14, 2012.
According to data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, in particular during the period the country exported 5.65 million tonnes of wheat (including 4.8 million tonnes of milling wheat), 5.46 million tonnes of corn and 1.76 million tonnes barley.
On the reporting date the port elevators stocked almost 1.1 million tonnes of grains (including 135,000 tonnes of wheat), grain stocks on board of vessels - 201,000 tonnes (wheat - 55,000 tonnes from prepared for loading of 99,000 tonnes).
Previously it was reported about stoppage of wheat exports from Ukraine due to achievement of the maximum possible volumes of grain shipment for the current marketing year at the level of 5.5 million tonnes, which was agreed between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and grain traders. The Ministry expects that in the current marketing year the country will supply 21-22 million tonnes of grains on foreign markets.
