Vietnam builds US$4.7M seafood plant in Cao Lanh

A tra and basa processing plant worth VND75 billion (US$4.7 million) is to be built in Cao Lanh City in the southern province of Dong Thap, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers.

The new plant, financed by To Chau JSC, is slated for completion in April 2008 and will create 1,200 new jobs.
