South Korea to import 165,000 tonnes of non-GMO corn

The Korea Corn Processing Industry Association recently issued a tender to buy up to 165,000 tonnes of optional-origin, non-genetically modified corn.

The tender to purchase the food-grade corn is due to close at 11 a.m. (0200 GMT) on Tuesday.

Traders said the Korean agency had bought last week a cargo of non-GMO corn for March arrival from Louis Dreyfus Corporation.
