Nutreco announced that Aart Voets is appointed as Managing Director of the Business Unit Hendrix.

Voets starts on December 1, 2009 and will report directly to Jerry Vergeer, Executive Vice President Agriculture.

Voets graduated with a degree in Zoötechnichs from the Agricultural University of Wageningen in 1986. He started his career at Royal Ahold where he held various positions in distribution, manufacturing and category management. In 1999 he joined Sara Lee and was appointed Managing Director of Meester Stegeman. In 2004 he joined Sligro Food Group and was appointed member of the Executive Board. In that position he was responsible for the retail division.
