BASF increases prices in Europe for two methylamines derivatives

With immediate effect, BASF is increasing the sales prices for the Methylamines derivatives Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) and Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) in Europe.

 

The price increases are as follows:

 

Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA)  

+ EUR50 (US$72.4) per tonne

Dimethylacetamide (DMAc)              

+ EUR40 (US$58) per tonne

 

Methylamines derivatives are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment, personal care, feed additives and solvents.

 

BASF produces Methylamines derivatives at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany; Geismar, Louisiana, US; Nanjing, China; and Camaçari, Brazil.
