Prices of Niacinamide in China Higher Recently; More Increases Seen
An eFeedLink Exclusive Report
Prices of niacinamide in China have moved higher recently on the back of tight market supply and higher raw material costs.
Current ex-factory offer prices of niacinamide issued by Lonza in the Chinese markets are at the level of RMB55/kg, with actual transacted prices up by RMB2/kg from previous week to reach RMB52/kg.
Lonza has officially announced that it would raise global prices of its feed-grade nicotinic acid and niacinamide by 15%-20% with effect from January 1, 2005. The upward price adjustment by the producer has provided support for prices of niacinamide in China.
Trade participants generally expect niacinamide prices in China to rise further in the near term.
