100,000 MT Of U.S. Corn Sold To Egypt In 2003-04


The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced on Tuesday private export sales of U.S. corn totaling 100,000 metric tons of U.S. for delivery to Egypt in the 2003-04 marketing year.

 

The corn marketing year began Sept. 1.

 

U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of corn made in the same day to the same destination by 1500 ET (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
