Heilongjiang's Hegang opens 100,000-tonne feed mill
A-Lingda Livestock Breeding Co Ltd recently saw the completion of a RMB20-million feed mill in Hegang, Heilongjiang province. The 3,000-sq-m facility has an annual processing capacity of 100,000 tonnes of feed including premixes, granular feed and complete feed, all of which will be supplied to the company's breeder hog farm in the vicinity.
Wonderson's Heilongjiang dairy plant operational ready next year
Wonderson Dairy Co Ltd has invested RMB278 million in a dairy processing plant in Nenjiang, Heihe city of Heilongjiang. The facility, which will have a daily capacity of 600 tonnes of fresh milk, is scheduled to go into operation next year.
RMB50-million poultry demonstration farm breaks ground in Shandong
A RMB50-million modern poultry demonstration farm featuring broiler and specialty poultry rearing grounds, a feed mill and tourist farm areas, recently began construction in Jinan, Shandong province. Once fully operational, annual output values and profits are estimated at RMB300 million and RMB20 million respectively.
Adisseo's 140,000-tonne methionine plant underway in Jiangsu
Adisseo's 140,000-tonne methionine plant at Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park, Jiangsu province is in the pipeline.
First-phase construction is set to complete by April 2013, with the production of 70,000 tonnes of Rhodimet AT 88 methionine per year. The full annual capacity of 140,000 tonnes will be realised in the second phase.
The plant, which started construction in August 2010, is being built in conjunction with Adisseo's parent company China National Bluestar.
Yurun plans RMB10-billion agri by-product purchasing centre in Jiangsu
Yurun Group has signed an agreement to set up a RMB10-billion agricultural by-product global purchasing centre in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province. The logistics platform will be among the largest in East China, which operations include agricultural by-product trade fairs, trading, cold chain logistics, warehousing, processing and distribution, e-commerce, inspection and quarantine, commercial R&D and food catering.
The centre is expected to generate RMB20 billion in annual turnover and RMB800 million in profits within three to five years of completion.
TQLS Group buys 540 US breeder hogs for Guizhou farm
TQLS Group has purchased 540 SPF hogs of Duroc, Landrace and Large White breeds from the US, its second import in recent years. The hogs will be transferred to the company's new breeder hog farm in Tongren, Guizhou.
