Poland's 2003/04 Grain Harvest at 29.6 Million MT

Poland's 2003-2004 all-grain crop totaled 29.6 million metric tons, rising 26.7% from the 2002-2003 season, according to the Central Statistical Office, or GUS, on Wednesday.

In its preliminary final estimates of 2003-2004 agricultural production, GUS forecast the rapeseed harvest at 1.6 million tons, up 102.5% from the previous year.

The data show the all-grain crop production was above a preliminary estimate of 29 million metric tons, while rapeseed production was slightly below an estimate of 1.5 million metric tons.
