BASF increases European prices for methylamines

BASF is increasing its European sales prices for methylamines as follows, with immediate effect or as existing contracts permit:
Monomethylamine (MMA) increasing by EUR80/tonne (US$106/tonne); Dimethylamine (DMA) increasing by EUR100/tonne (US$133/tonne); and Trimethylamine (TMA) increasing by EUR110/tonne (US$146/tonne).
Methylamines are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment, and personal care. They also prove valuable in the production of feed additives and organic solvents.
BASF produces methylamines at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany; Geismar, Louisiana; Nanjing, China; and Camaçari, Brazil.
