New Zealand to boost trade with Turkey
Efforts are being made to boost New Zealand's trade ties with Turkey with the start of livestock exports to Turkey.
New Zealand's Trade and Defence Minister Phil Goff highlighted educational and agricultural links during his four-day visit to Turkey.
Apart from educational incentives that the minister managed to secure for his students, New Zealand was close to finalising deals to export dairy cattle to Turkey for the first time.
Companies like AEL Bloodstock and PGG Wrightsons are poised to take advantage of this opportunity.
