Press Release

Almarai Company recently decided to build a greenfield hatchery and selected Petersime to equip it with state-of-the-art BioStreamerâ„¢ incubators, featuring the patented Embryo-Response Incubationâ„¢ technology, as well as all automation equipment and climate control systems.

The food and beverage manufacturer is branching out its ambitions into new areas and has started the roll-out of its plans to become a major poultry producer. In 2009, Almarai acquired Hadco, a well-established poultry integrator based in the city of Hail in Saudi Arabia.

John Traynor, Construction Projects Manager of Almarai's Farming Division said, "My goal is to build the greenfield hathery within the budget, time frame and industry-leading quality standards of Almarai. My team is working closely together with Petersime's Project Department, since they will not only supply the incubation equipment, but also all additional hatchery equipment such as climate control systems and automation."

Andrew Mackie, General Manager of the Farming Divison said, "This is a fantastic opportunity for Almarai to apply its recognised know-how in farming, food production and logistics into the fast growing segment of high-quality poultry meat production."
