China threonine prices lower on sluggish demand lately

An eFeedLink exclusive report

Sales volume of locally produced threonine in China fell to some degree lately, due to sluggish demand by feed millers. Chinese feed millers have also not yet generally adopted the practice of supplementing threonine in feed. With feed millers using only limited quantities of threonine, prices of locally produced threonine moved lower lately.

Offer prices of locally produced threonine were in the range of RMB34.0-35.0/kg recently, while actual transacted prices were between RMB33.0/kg and RMB33.5/kg.

Meanwhile, transacted prices for some imported threonine were in the range of RMB38.0-38.5/kg lately, with few small quantity transactions seen.
