Ukraine's November grain exports the lowest for the last three seasons

Ukrainian grain exports were predicted at 509.7 kilotonnes in November (1.4 million tonnes in October) consisting of 195 kilotonnes of wheat, 82.8 kilotonnes of barley and 198.9 kilotonnes of corn.

This year grain exports were much lower that in November 2009 when Ukraine shipped 2.3 million tonnes of grains. Total grain exports from Ukraine have already reached 5.3 million tonnes in the 2010/11 season. The estimated exports capacity approximates 14-15 million tonnes.

Market operators expected that the remaining quotas for corn exports will be allocated on December 2, but the allocation didn't take place. Next week everything should be clear.

Moreover the number of companies who submitted the applications and wanted to get quotas on November 12 have not received export licenses yet and cannot ship grains abroad.
