Price figures are based on Lonza, a major producer.
RMB1=US$0.1462 (Dec 13)

Prices of niacinamide in China fell amid light trade. Price gaps between imported and locally-produced niacinamide narrowed.

Prices of Lonza's niacinamide in the north were at RMB83-87/kg. Transacted prices in the south were slightly higher.

Supplies of imported niacinamide by Evonik were tight, with general market prices in the range of RMB80-84/kg. Some small volume deals were concluded at slightly higher prices.

General market prices of India-produced niacinamide fell to around RMB80/kg. Prices of other local producers were generally between RMB75-78/kg.

China's niacinamide prices are expected to soften amid tense competition but flat demand.
